Your agent built something great. Now it lives in a chat window, and your client wants a link.
That gap, between "it works on my screen" and "here, click this," is where a lot of good agent work goes to die.
Spacefast closes it: you chat, you publish, you get a live link.
It is a publishing layer that sits on top of whatever your agent already built. In this workshop, we show you how it works, where it is rough, and how to put it in front of WordPress clients without making promises you can't keep.
The short version
What Spacefast actually is
Built by Automattic, the team behind WordPress.com, WooCommerce, Tumblr, and Day One. Not a no-code builder, and not traditional hosting. A place for what your agent made to go live.
Free with every space
- MySQL-compatible database
- Auth
- File uploads
- Transactional email
- Spam screening
- Traffic stats
Four ways to publish
- From a chat
- Drag and drop with drop.website
- git push
- The CLI
Built for sharing
- Private by default
- Versioned, so edits are never scary
- Shareable with real access control
- Pinned comments instead of screenshots and Slack threads
We'll also tell you where it's early. Part of the session is an honest look at what is rough today and what could still change, so you know what you are signing clients up for.

Use case one: Carol's decision site
A decision too big for a chat
The conversation is where we think. The space is where we know.
When a decision is complicated, research piles up faster than you can make sense of it. Answers get buried 40 messages back, earlier conclusions quietly get replaced, and nobody else in the family can follow along. Carol had Claude turn the research into a small site on Spacefast, organized the way the family actually thinks about the decision. It updates every time they learn something new.
Answer
The Overview page. Where things stand, next steps, and deadlines, in 30 seconds.
Reasoning
Topic pages, plus the options we ruled out, so nobody re-researches a dead end three months from now.
Evidence
The research log, the raw notes, and every source. Any number can be traced back to where it came from.
Claude researches and edits. Spacefast hosts, versions, and shares. You never reorganize anything yourself, because the structure absorbs new information.
Carol will also show her event hub, a very different use case, so you can see how far one tool stretches.
Why this is a WordPress thing
Where this fits for WordPress pros
Client work you could use it for
- Hosting or migration decisions
- Plugin or vendor evaluations
- AI readiness and visibility audits
- Project discovery
You will also leave with a starter prompt that sets up the three-layer structure and the update routine.
And the part where it meets your site
- Embed a Spacefast-built page or app into an existing WordPress site
- Where the WooCommerce integration fits
- What migrates with no code changes, and what takes real work
- The landmines worth checking before you promise a client anything
Your presenters
Kathy Zant
WordPress security expert, author, keynote speaker
Over two decades in information security, including time at Wordfence and SolidWP, and approximately 5,000 hacked WordPress sites cleaned. These days she works in marketing for GeneratePress and runs her own consulting and content business. She teaches Spacefast the way she tests everything else: assuming something will go wrong, then showing you where.
Carol Stambaugh
WordPress agency co-owner, Spacefast power user
Carol is co-owner of RadiateU, a WordPress agency that has spent 16 years keeping client sites secure, updated, and running, and she has helped organize WordCamp Phoenix since 2012. She uses Claude and Spacefast for event planning and day-to-day operations, and built a living decision site to keep a real family decision from drowning in chat history. She'll walk you through how it actually works, rough edges included.
